Renee Starr spent most of her life living in Covina and still lives there.  Lived 15 years in Claremont.  Has spent most of her life singing and performing with her sisters and most recently 20 years as a “Sentimental Sister” recreating the sounds of the Andrews Sisters.  Is married to Jonathan Starr who is the love of her life and her eternal companion.  Together they have raised 6 beautiful children of their own plus 3 children for different amounts of years and about 5 children in and out of the foster program. She has 14 grand children. She spent 15 years working with her husband in their dental laboratory.  Renee earned a life experience equivalency degree and spent 5 years teaching continuing education for Mt. San Antonio College, co-owner of a food co-op for 5 years and many other various jobs.  For several years Renee had a performing arts studio down town Upland teaching about 92 children students including her own children. In the last 8 years she has used her real estate licence to help her husband in his real estate career.  As a senior she now works approximately full time hours researching family history. She has spent a life time of service in various capacities as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Renee was the American Mothers California Mother of the Year 2013.
